Getting to Nanaimo:
By Ferry: Nanaimo can be reached by ferry from either Horseshoe Bay or Tsawwassen
both in Vancouver. Sailing time is 1 1/2 - 2 hours and fares are approx. $9 o/w walk on, $40 o/w car and driver
By
Bus: Laidlaw bus service runs up and down Vancouver Island as well as from Vancouver
By Plane: Nanaimo's airport
is called Nanaimo-Coleshaw and is located south of town in Cassidy. One way from Vancouver is approx.$60
By Train:
The E&N offers service from Comox to Victoria stopping in Nanaimo
By Car: Nanaimo is approx. an 1 1/2 hour
drive from Victoria, and 3 hours from Tofino
Getting to the Cosmic Cow Guesthouse:
At the intersection (overpass) of Hwy 1 and the Nanaimo Parkway
head East down Cedar Rd. Make a right turn at Wilkinson Rd before the bridge. Follow Wilkinson Rd along the river to the very
very end where it will turn into our driveway.
Nanaimo City bus # 9 then #8 will get you to the bridge.
